What is your availability and how quickly can you start?
I typically have availability within 1–2 weeks. For urgent requirements I can often start sooner. Initial scoping call is available within 24 hours of your enquiry.
Do you work remotely or on-site?
Primarily remote — which means I can work with companies across the EU without relocation costs. I am based in Poland (CET timezone), which means I overlap fully with DACH and UK working hours. Occasional on-site visits to Germany, Austria, Switzerland or UK can be arranged if required.
What engagement models do you offer?
Three models: Project-based (fixed scope, fixed price — best for defined deliverables like CI/CD setup or Kubernetes migration), Monthly retainer (ongoing support, monitoring, optimisations — best for companies without in-house DevOps), and Time & Material (hourly rate — best for uncertain scope or ongoing consulting). I recommend starting with a scoped project and moving to retainer once trust is established.
What is your hourly or day rate?
Rates depend on engagement type and duration. As a Polish-based contractor serving DACH and UK clients, I offer senior EU expertise at rates significantly below local German or UK market rates. Typical range: €80–120/h or day rates from €600. For retainer contracts I offer monthly packages. Please get in touch for a specific quote.
How do you handle GDPR and data security?
I sign an NDA before every engagement. I operate on a least-privilege basis — access only to what is strictly necessary and only for the duration of the project. All access is removed after project completion. For companies with strict data residency requirements I can build on-premise infrastructure where no data leaves your network.
What happens after the project ends?
Every engagement includes full documentation written for your team, Git-versioned infrastructure code, runbooks and handover. 30 days post-project support is included for issues arising from my work. I do not leave black boxes — every project is documented and handed over properly.
Can you work with our existing tech stack?
Most likely yes. Core stack: GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes (k3s, MicroK8s, EKS), Terraform, AWS, ELK Stack, Prometheus/Grafana, Harbor, MinIO, SonarQube, Trivy, Bash, Python. If your stack differs — describe it in your initial message and I will confirm fit in the reply.
Do you hold any certifications?
I have 10+ years of hands-on production experience with the technologies I offer. I prioritise proven practical expertise over certification. AWS certification is on my roadmap — relevant for clients with strict certification requirements.
